Life....

Last week, Simon's cousin, Claire passed away. It was quick and oh so tragic. She was only 26. She was young, and vibrant and full of life. (yes I know it's sounding very cliched, but you always knew if Claire was around.

Her funeral was on Saturday. It was heart wrenching. Seeing her poor family come to terms with the loss of someone so young. The thing that got to me the most, was the wake. Don't get me wrong, it was lovely, but it was the sentiment that her mother shared with us that tore me to pieces. She said that the since Claire didn't have a wedding they wanted to spend that money on her anyway - gut wrenching!

In a vague attempt to cheer myself up I have attempted another couple of pages, this time the subject is my new nephew Will Oliver Harrison who was born on 4 July.

Sorrow & Memories

Nita's grandfather passed away this week, and my heart goes out to her. Having lost my Nanna late last year I can understand the sadness she is going through. My thoughts are with you Nita and your family is this time of sorrow.

Sadly for me it's bought up all the emotion relating to my Nanna, how I never really got to say goodbye, and how I miss her. So, having been inspired by Nita who taught me how to use photo shop here is my first attempt at doing an electronic page - hopefully it will work.
