If it's not one thing it's another.

Just as we're coming to terms with the loss of old Mac dog, we took Ms Lucy in for her annual check-up. And while we're there discussing how old she is, and how young she acts (the vet couldn't believe she's nine, she acts so much like a puppy), we point out a lump on Lucy's back. The vet biopsies, and then we're told, yep, we think we should operate. So almost 2 weeks ago Ms Lucy goes in and gets 5 lumps removed. We wait patiently for the results, finally get them, and surprise, it's a grade 2 Marcel tumour. We have two choices, either wait and see, or take her to a doggie oncologist. What to do?? We'll take her to the vet during the week to have the stitches removed and chat with the vet. But all I can say is it's just a bit too soon.

it really is & i'm just not impressed with the babies getting old. i know you've talked to mum about it - but perhaps a visit to her lovely oncologist at murdoch is worth it?? he was very sweet & very honest which might make everything clearer...
